About Me
Hi, my name is SrtBull, and I will teach you everything you need to know about hosting your own RUST server. I have created many tutorial videos on YouTube, covering everything from hosting a RUST server on your computer to using a rented server. I will also show you how to install and configure RUST Mods and best practices for administrating your server.
I started playing RUST in 2015 and have over 13,000 hours logged. I have hated some of the changes FacePunch has made, but I also loved the game’s growth over the years. Just the fact that the developers are constantly updating and changing things, in general, for the best, is reason enough for me to continue teaching people how to fall in love with the game.
When I first learned how to run a server, I had no idea what I was doing. I still remember my first big mistake. I didn’t know that when you typed ‘restart’ in the console, it didn’t actually restart the server; it just shut it down (There was no reboot loop built-in). So I ended up screwing my community over for a couple of hours until the actual owner could reboot the server from the dedicated machine that I didn’t have full access to.
We all started at zero, and I’m here to help. You can learn from my mistakes, and I can show you how to make some mistakes of your own and how to get out of them, too.
